How to make random teams

  1. Paste in everyone's names.
  2. Choose whether you want a set number of teams (for example 4 teams) or a set team size (for example groups of 3).
  3. Press Make teams. Press it again for a fresh mix.

Names are shuffled fairly, then dealt out one at a time like cards, so team sizes never differ by more than one person.

Frequently asked questions

What if the names don't divide evenly?
Some teams get one extra person. For example, 13 people in 3 teams gives teams of 5, 4 and 4.
Can I make pairs?
Yes. Choose "People per team" and enter 2.
